Problem Center

Resolve warehouse exceptions

Use Problem Center to review, filter, and resolve warehouse exception tasks.

Quick answer

Problem Center is the warehouse exception queue.

Use it to review open exception tasks, filter by stage or type, and choose a resolution action for each task.

Problem Center can show exception work from pick, pack, stow, receive, and returns sources when those tasks exist in the current system.

Open Problem Center

Open Problem Center from the warehouse navigation.

The page shows the number of unresolved tasks and a table of current exceptions.

If there are no open tasks, LaSyncro shows No open exceptions.

If a filter hides the current tasks, LaSyncro shows No exceptions match the current filters.

Review the exception table

Each row can show:

  • product or variant;
  • SKU;
  • stage;
  • type;
  • quantity;
  • problem label;
  • problem bin;
  • age;
  • resolution action.

Problem labels use PROB- values. They help connect the physical exception item to the Problem Center task.

Problem bin shows where the exception item should be staged when a problem bin is configured.

Filter and sort work

Use stage filters to view:

  • Pick
  • Pack
  • Stow
  • Receive

Returns tasks can appear in the table under All stages, but the current filter chips do not include a dedicated Returns filter.

Use type filters for visible exception types, such as Item Missing, Short Pick, Product Defect, Packaging Defect, Wrong Item, Stow Failure, and Receive Rejection.

Use Show resolved when you need to include resolved rows in the view.

You can sort by exception, quantity, or age.

Resolve an exception

Choose Resolve on an open row.

Select the action that matches the physical decision, add an optional note, then choose Confirm.

The actions available depend on the exception type. Current options can include:

  • Re-stow: the item is usable and should return to stock through stowing.
  • Find Replacement: marks the task as investigating. The current resolution dialog does not show replacement locations.
  • Discard: the item is damaged beyond use.
  • Write Off: the item is missing or unaccounted for.
  • Quarantine: hold the item for more investigation.

Do not choose a resolution until the physical item and stock impact are clear.

Understand inventory impact

Resolution actions can affect inventory differently.

Discard and Write Off reduce available stock when LaSyncro can identify a single eligible stock location with enough available quantity.

Re-stow creates new stow work so usable stock can return to a bin.

Quarantine moves the item to the configured problem bin when LaSyncro can identify one eligible stock location.

Find Replacement leaves the task investigating instead of fully resolved.

If LaSyncro cannot safely identify the stock location or available quantity, the resolution can fail. Review the item, location, and problem bin setup before trying again.

Handle pending pack decisions

Problem Center can also show a pending pack decision strip when a packer is waiting.

The available actions are:

  • Ship partial
  • Hold order

Choose the action only after reviewing the order and the missing or short item context. Add a note for the packer when helpful.

Who can use Problem Center

Owners, admins, and operators can view Problem Center and resolve warehouse exception tasks when their role includes the required warehouse actions.

Owner or admin review is recommended before actions that write off stock, discard stock, hold an order, or approve a partial shipment.
