Quick answer
Stowing moves accepted stock from receiving into its physical warehouse storage location.
It is the next operational step in the warehouse flow:
Receive → Stow → Pick → Pack → Ship
After receiving closes, accepted units can become stow work. The operator then confirms where each physical unit is placed.
Start with pending stow work
Open Stow to review the pending tasks.
The session shows the products, unit quantities, and assigned or suggested locations for the available work.
Choose Start Stowing when you are ready to begin.
Stowing is location-first
Before placing any unit, confirm the physical destination.
LaSyncro shows a suggested bin when one is available.
Walk to the bin and scan its barcode.
The suggested bin is guidance. The location you physically scan is what confirms the active destination for the stow workflow.
This location-first sequence prevents inventory from being recorded in a bin that the operator has not physically confirmed.
Scan the physical unit
Once a bin is active, scan the unit being placed.
The Stow session accepts the physical LSU label or a product barcode that LaSyncro can resolve to an available unit.
Each successful placement represents one physical unit.
LaSyncro updates progress only after the backend confirms that placement successfully.
What happens to inventory
For newly received stock, inventory begins from the warehouse root location.
When a unit is successfully stowed, LaSyncro moves that inventory from its source location into the confirmed destination bin.
The physical unit is then recorded as stowed at that location.
Continue through the task
Keep scanning units into the active bin until the required quantity has been placed.
You can also scan another valid storage bin if the physical destination needs to change.
LaSyncro preserves the committed progress for the task as units are placed.
When stowing is complete
A stow task is complete only when its full quantity has been successfully placed.
Once all current tasks are complete, the Stow session confirms that inventory has been updated.
That stock is now stored in its warehouse location and can continue into downstream fulfillment.
