Orders

Release orders into batches

Release ready orders from the Order pool so warehouse operators can pick them.

Quick answer

The Order pool is where owners and admins release ready orders into pick batches.

Only orders that are not blocked, not already batched, and ready for fulfillment appear in the pool.

Releasing a batch sends work to the warehouse floor. Operators then pick it from Warehouse.

Open the Order pool

Open Orders and choose Order Flow.

The middle column is Order pool.

The pool shows how many orders are ready and the total releasable value.

If there are no ready orders, the page may show that the release pool is clear or that no orders are ready for release right now.

Understand blocked versus releasable

Blocked orders are shown separately in the Blocked orders column.

The Order pool contains orders that LaSyncro currently considers releasable.

If an order is blocked, resolve the blocker first. When the blocker is resolved and the order becomes ready, it can return to the pool.

Review pool information

Each pool row can show:

  • order number;
  • order value;
  • SKU count;
  • unit count;
  • age;
  • priority label;
  • SLA breached label.

Use search, filters, sorting, and pagination where they appear to narrow the pool before release.

Prioritize orders

Owners and admins can mark an order as priority.

Priority orders are treated ahead of non-priority orders when LaSyncro builds a release.

Priority does not bypass blockers. A blocked order still needs its blocker resolved before release.

Release all ready orders

If no orders are selected, the release button releases the ready pool up to the current batch ceiling.

The button text shows the current action, such as Release all or Nothing to release.

LaSyncro may create a smaller batch than the full pool when the batch ceiling is reached.

Release selected orders

Select one or more orders in the pool when you want to release a specific group.

When orders are selected, the release button changes to release the selected count.

In Order Flow, selected release uses only the selected orders that are still eligible at release time.

If a selected order is no longer eligible, LaSyncro reports it as not released or moves it to Blocked when the release check finds a current blocker.

After release

When release succeeds, LaSyncro shows how many orders were released and the active batch identifier.

The batch appears in the Fulfillment column and becomes available in Warehouse.

Released orders are no longer ordinary pool rows. They are now part of active batch work.

Inventory during release

Release is the point where LaSyncro reserves the stock needed for the batch.

If the release check finds that stock is no longer available for an order, that order can move out of the pool and into Blocked orders.

This protects the warehouse from picking work that no longer has enough available stock.

Who can release batches

Batch release is intended for owners and admins.

Operators claim and pick released batches, but they do not release orders from the pool.
