Quick answer
Use Inventory -> Data Quality to review whether product and inventory records have the coverage needed for warehouse work.
Data Quality is a read-only readiness view. It highlights pickability, bin location coverage, inventory evaluation age, and receiving rejections.
Read the top verdict
The top banner summarizes whether the warehouse is ready to pick.
It can show:
- Your warehouse is ready to pick
- Some items aren't ready to pick
The verdict currently depends on two blocker counts:
- variants that are not pickable because they have no product code;
- variants that have a SKU but no bin location record.
Pickability
Not pickable - no product code counts active variants with no SKU.
These products can fail at camera scan during picking.
Use Fix in Catalog to review the affected products in the Catalog, then add missing SKUs in Shopify and resync.
Bin location coverage
No bin location counts active variants that have a SKU but have not been stowed into a recorded bin location.
Operators may not be able to locate these products on the warehouse floor.
Use Stow in Warehouse to move toward the warehouse workflow that records where stock lives.
Inventory evaluation signals
Variants with count mismatch is shown as an inventory signal, but the current screen does not prove that system inventory has been reconciled against a physical cycle count.
When inventory data exists and no physical count source is available, the screen can show zero and explain that physical cycle count is not yet enabled.
When no inventory baseline exists, the value can be blank.
Last inventory evaluation
Last inventory evaluation shows the oldest inventory evaluation time across bin locations.
Use this to understand how old the oldest inventory evaluation signal is.
Receive readiness
Open receive jobs with rejections counts open receive jobs that include rejected units.
Rejected units need inspection or supplier-return handling before they should be treated as clean available stock.
When to use Catalog instead
Use Data Quality for the warehouse-wide readiness picture.
Use Inventory -> Catalog when you need the product-level list behind readiness statuses such as missing SKU, not received, phantom stock, or zero stock.
