Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot permission and access errors

Tell the difference between sign-in, role, plan, and workflow-claim problems.

Quick answer

Access problems usually fall into one of four groups:

  • sign-in or session problems;
  • role permission problems;
  • plan access problems;
  • workflow claim conflicts.

The fix depends on which kind of block you are seeing.

Sign-in or session problems

If your session expires or cannot refresh, LaSyncro can return you to Sign in.

Sign in again and continue from the page LaSyncro returns you to.

If sign-in does not work, use the password reset flow or ask an owner to confirm your team access.

Role permission problems

Role permission problems happen when your account is signed in, but your role does not allow the action.

Examples include trying to manage billing, team membership, role permissions, or settings without the required role.

Owners can review role and permission configuration.

Operators should ask an Owner for help instead of trying to change their own permissions.

Plan access problems

Plan access problems happen when the current shop plan does not include the feature or capacity needed.

This is different from a role denial.

A plan-gated screen may show an upgrade prompt or locked tab.

Owners can review plan options in Settings -> Billing.

Workflow claim conflicts

Warehouse workflows can be claimed by a person or session.

Messages that say a job, batch, or task is already claimed by another operator or packer are workflow conflicts, not account permission problems.

Return to the workflow list, finish your own active work, or ask an owner or admin to review who should continue the task.

Operator routing

Operators are intentionally warehouse-focused in the current application.

When Operators open non-warehouse areas, LaSyncro may send them back to Warehouse.

If an Operator needs a non-warehouse workflow, ask an owner to review the role assignment.

What to check before contacting support

Before contacting support, confirm:

  • you are signed in to the right LaSyncro account;
  • you are working in the right shop;
  • your role matches the action you are trying to take;
  • the shop plan includes the feature;
  • the work is not already claimed by someone else.

Include the page name, the action you tried, and the exact message you saw.
