Quick answer
If a product does not have a supplier EAN or UPC, you can still print a LaSyncro product label.
Select Print label and LaSyncro creates an internal LSP- identity for that product before generating the printable label.
Find products without supplier barcodes
In the Product Barcodes area, LaSyncro separates products with supplier barcodes from products where that barcode is unassigned.
Products without a supplier barcode can be selected and labelled directly from this area.
Print a label
For the product you want to label:
- select Print label;
- LaSyncro creates an LSP identity if the product does not already have one;
- the printable product label is generated.
The generated LSP identity is stored against that variant.
The LSP code is not a replacement EAN or UPC
LaSyncro does not fabricate an EAN, UPC, or GTIN for the product.
Instead, the LSP- code is a separate LaSyncro-owned product identity.
If a supplier barcode is added later, the supplier barcode and LSP identity can both exist on the same product.
The label remains stable
Once an LSP identity has been created, reprinting uses the same code.
LaSyncro does not create a new LSP identity each time you print.
Print several unlabelled products at once
You can select multiple products without supplier barcodes and batch print them.
LaSyncro creates any missing LSP identities before generating the PDF label sheet.
You do not need to print each product individually just to create its LaSyncro identity.
